Visible suspension damage across the Orlando Metro
Suspension damage can leave one corner low or a wheel misaligned. Dispatch needs the vehicle’s stance documented before anyone attempts movement.
Compare the damaged corner
- Identify which corner sits higher, lower, inward, or outward.
- Describe springs, arms, links, or rods that appear loose.
- Look for tire contact against bodywork without reaching underneath.
- Report whether the wheel angle changed after a curb strike.
- Compare the damaged side with the matching undamaged side.
Visible suspension changes
- One body corner rests noticeably closer to the pavement.
- A wheel tilts differently from the wheel opposite it.
- A coil, rod, or metal arm hangs near the tire.
- The tire rubs bodywork while steering or rolling slowly.
Document stance without testing it
- Park movement attempts until an operator reviews the damage.
- Take level photographs from the front, rear, and affected side.
- Include the gap between tire and fender in close views.
- Mention any sounds heard immediately after the original impact.
Stance alone isn’t a diagnosis
Visible suspension symptoms don’t identify every damaged component. Quick Tow Orlando connects drivers with independent operators who assess recovery needs onsite.
Suspension-damage questions
How can I show that one corner sits lower?
Photograph both sides from the same level and distance.
Should I straighten a hanging suspension piece?
No. Leave displaced components alone and show their position.
Why compare the opposite wheel in photographs?
The comparison makes unusual height and angle easier to see.
Does a tilted wheel prove suspension damage?
No. It’s a useful observation requiring direct inspection.
